Wendy Chen is a Program Fellow with the Laureate Program in International Law. She is a Juris Doctor student at Melbourne Law School and a graduate of Harvard University. Linked to her background in policy analysis and post-conflict development, Wendy’s research interests include: the law of war — particularly the role of non-state armed actors, international legal theory, and the intersection of public and private international law. In approaching these legal issues, she seeks to draw upon her interdisciplinary training in intellectual history, literary criticism, and social science. Wendy has previously worked and researched for the International Peace Institute, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations World Food Programme, and the Massachusetts State Senate.
